The center of excellence for aquaculture at Nha Trang University (NTU) organized a short training course on short-necked clam P. undulate aquaculture for small-scale farmers in Kien Giang province, Vietnam from July 31st to 1st August, 2020. The course provided the farmers knowledge and practical works on broodstock preparation, induced spawning and larvae rearing. After the course, the farmers can apply techniques into their own hatcheries for improving life livelihood.

Assoc. Prof. Bundit Yuangsoi, KKU, had visited the Center of Excellence in Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (CEFAR) as a guest speaker and discussed about his research in the northeastern part of Thailand and the opportinities to join the research and teaching at the faculty of fishries technology and aquatic resources, Maejo University.

The interdisciplinary Center for Sustainable Development and E-lab under TUNASIA co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union are officially open by the Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University on May 20, 2020.
Due to the COVID-19, all teaching has turned into online and distance in partner universities in the TUNASIA project. The Centers of Excellence in Thailand and Vietnam partners have supported equipment for teaching and learning activities, This could be considered as a partially contribution of the TUNASIA project for partner universities in education and training.
