The 2nd and 3rd National Meeting entitled “Strategies for Sustainability of transdisciplinary environmental education” during 4 – 8 March 2019

Under the TUNASIA project, the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, Maejo University, Chiangmai, Thailand organized and hosted the 2nd and 3rd National Meeting entitled “Strategies for Sustainability of transdisciplinary environmental education” during 4 – 8 March 2019.

During this meeting the following were accomplished including 3-day meetings with European partners and Thai partners, subsequently the last 3 days Vietnamese partners joined and reported their progress. In this meeting, a Strategic plan for promotion of transdisciplinary environmental education in region and local Education networks was discussed. Modularized thematic clusters in the BA programmes at the PU universities were finalized. Formation and equipping of centers of excellence in transdisciplinary environmental education were discussed. Team teaching was carried out at MJU. TUNASIA Dissemination Plan was discussed as well. Field trip to upland aquaculture, trout and sturgeon and tilapia cage culture was included.
